Born and raised in North Carolina, I'm on an enriching journey as a mom to two amazing girls and happily married to the love of my life. My transition from an athlete to a passionate fitness enthusiast is marked by earning a Bachelor's degree from Lenoir-Rhyne University, complemented by certifications as a NASM Certified Personal Trainer, a Certified Macro Nutrition Coach, and a Functional Nutrition Coach.
My love for an active and wellness-driven lifestyle dates back to my childhood, where sports like basketball and competitive horseback riding ignited my passion. Growing up with nourishing homemade meals laid a strong foundation for a healthy life. This journey led me to a fulfilling role as a PE/Health Teacher, where I shared the values of an active and wholesome lifestyle for several years.
